Last night on the presidential debate stage, Trump did what he always does: lie, attack women, lie, blame immigrants… and then lie some more.

Vice President Harris did her homework and came prepared with actual plans for our future that would improve the lives of Americans. And wow, did she deliver.

It was amazing to watch her talk about the need for making child care costs more affordable, protecting social security for our seniors, and restoring the abortion access of Roe v. Wade.

While Harris focused on unity — repeatedly stating, “We have more in common than what separates us” — Trump surprised nobody when he continued the same old and tired playbook of fear-mongering, conspiracy theories, and division.

That’s because he knows how to cater to his MAGA fan base. And now, just as he planned, they’re more fired up than ever to elect like-minded extremists up and down the ballot, who are doubling down on Trump's dangerous lies.

This means we need to work as hard as possible in EVERY race across the country to ensure swing voters hear the message of our pro-choice Democratic moms. Building enthusiasm and voter turnout for our candidates is an essential part of driving key Democratic victories in 2024:  from our mamas running in key red-to-blue battleground states, all the way up to Kamala Harris at the very top of the ticket. 

This presidential debate just made it even clearer than ever what our mamas are fighting for — and against. But we still need to raise another $4,107 by this Friday the 13th to hit our mid-month goal and remain on track.
