Governor Gordon to deliver luncheon address at Computing Symposium during University of Wyoming Blockchain Stampede
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mark Gordon will deliver an address on innovation to attendees of the University of Wyoming’s Computing Symposium. The luncheon event will be held during the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede, September 19, 12-1:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom on the UW campus in Laramie. The Governor’s address, entitled The Cowboy State Economy: Technology, Innovation, and Enterprise, will reflect the state’s open-for-business, economic growth mindset. The Governor’s address will include remarks regarding the work of the Wyoming Innovation Partnership (WIP)-supported Precision Agriculture program, which leverages technology to improve agricultural efficiency and sustainability. The Governor will also explain the innovative steps leading to the anticipated launch of the nation’s first-ever, fiat-backed stable token in 2025. The Wyoming Computing Symposium showcases computing research and development in Wyoming and the region that contributes to strengthening our workforce and the economy.
