Last night, we witnessed a debate between two candidates offering starkly different visions for our homes, families, and workplaces. Disgraced former President Trump continued to push his divisive rhetoric of anger and fear, representing a Republican Party looking backward. A second Trump presidency would threaten families’ basic freedoms, including reproductive rights.
In contrast, Vice President Harris presented a vision of an Opportunity Economy—where hard work is rewarded, and America's best days are still ahead. She took on Trump’s lies head-on, including falsehoods about Ohio. Her vision is forward-looking, working toward a future where all Americans have greater freedom and opportunity.
Here in Ohio, we know our support for common-sense healthcare freedoms is no accident. We're smart enough to see through self-serving actors like Donald Trump and JD Vance. And just like Vice President Harris, in the Ohio Senate, we are working to protect these essential reproductive rights and build a better tomorrow. We have the chance to gain three seats this fall, and with them, we can fight even harder for you.
