[1]The Long Run PAC

I hope you can spare just a couple minutes to let me explain why this month’s fundraising deadline is different.

You see, September is an FEC deadline month. That means at the end of the month candidates will be legally required to report their fundraising totals to the FEC, who will publish it publicly online for anyone to see.

Now, to be clear, none of the deadlines we set are arbitrary.

The Long Run works to support pro-democracy candidates in tough races. Races we need to win to keep the far-right out of power. We set goals around monthly deadlines so that we can be sure we raise enough money to support those candidates when they need it most.

But with this FEC deadline coming up, there’s some extra pressure.

This is the last quarterly FEC deadline before voters head to the polls and decide the future of our nation. Our last chance for our candidates to show some serious momentum heading into the start of early voting.

So far, the month is off to a slow start. Not good. But you can be one of the people to help us turn that around.

$5, $10, $20 — Whatever you can afford today would go a long way to getting us on track towards our goal.

So what do you say?

Make your first contribution towards our September FEC deadline to help us hit our goals and provide critical support to important campaigns around the country.

With less than 60 days now until Election Day, things are really going to start to heat up. It’s time to leave it all out on the field.

Thanks,
