As we predicted, Kamala Harris was the definitive winner of the debate last night. The MAGA base may be unwilling to leave their leader, but the swing voters are swinging and the momentum is on our side.
We have 54 days to go. Here is our analysis of the current state of play.
We need to keep doing everything we can to talk to people about what’s at stake. That includes reproductive rights, immigrants’ rights, climate justice, and an opportunity economy. It is our duty to get out the vote, up and down ticket, to create the most space for us to continue to fight for the future we deserve.
We need to stop being afraid to push our candidate on the things that matter to us. We still need commitments for an arms embargo, ending the brutality at the border, and a climate policy that meets the crisis moment that we are in.
We need to start making concrete plans for what we will do to play our part in the most consequential election of our lifetimes. Talk to your friends, neighbors, family. Talk to strangers. Help folks get registered to vote, help them find the information they need to feel informed when they cast their ballot, and then make sure they VOTE!
