Like many Americans, I still remember where I was that morning, on September 11, 2001. I can still remember the fear, the uncertainty, and the sadness of that day.
But I also remember the heroism of so many men and women who ran into danger to help their fellow Americans. I remember the resilience of the first responders who worked tirelessly to help those in need. And I remember the unity of all Americans who joined together, as one nation, to support each other through this tragedy.
Thank you to those who put their lives on the line every day, and thank you to all who continue to put the interests of our nation over their own.
Today, and every day, we remember and mourn those we lost, and we honor the resilience of our nation. We will never forget.
Thanks for joining me in remembrance,
Dave
