From New York City to the Pentagon to a field in Pennsylvania, the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 shook our nation to its core. We can all still vividly remember the smoke, the fire, and the horror of that day.
Today we honor and remember the 2,977 victims who lost their lives. I ask all Marylanders to join us in praying for the victims, their families, and for all the heroic police, firefighters, and first responders who never hesitated to answer the call.
