Did you watch the debate, friend?

Last night’s debate put democracy issues in the spotlight, with the two
candidates presenting starkly contrasting visions for our country and views on
the state of American elections. We heard outright lies about voting intended
to sow distrust in electoral processes and their outcomes.

This much is clear: there’s way too much at stake this November for anyone to
sit this election out.

At VoteRiders, we believe that every eligible voter should be able to cast a
ballot without unnecessary barriers to the voting booth.

Voter ID laws and other such barriers to the right to vote are part of a
broad, well-funded, and deliberate effort to block millions of Americans from
