We warned of the imminent threat the WHO health treaties pose, which could plunge us into a global police state if we don't act. The Biden-Harris administration's push to surrender our national sovereignty to international bodies like the WHO betrays our founding principles. If left unchecked, it risks subjecting Americans to disarmament, censorship, surveillance, enforced healthcare, and coerced vaccinations, all while hardworking taxpayers foot the bill.
On September 3-4, 2024, the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body held “Interactive Dialogues” to discuss the proposed "Pandemic Agreement." The Biden-Harris administration has been negotiating this agreement for months, and it could seriously undermine American sovereignty and free speech. But there is hope: members of Congress are pushing back. Representative Tom Tiffany (R-WI) introduced H.R. 1425, requiring Senate approval for any pandemic-related WHO agreements. This ensures that the will of the American people, through their representatives, remains paramount.
Although 49 Senate Republicans have united against surrendering sovereignty to global organizations with their companion bill S444, no Democrat senator has yet broken party lines. The Senate may endorse these dangerous globalist agreements without bipartisan action or significant changes in future elections. The primary beneficiaries of such policies would be foreign entities like the Chinese Communist Party, which would gain influence over U.S. health policies through the WHO.
For those unfamiliar with our efforts, Act for America has been fighting this battle for over two years, mobilizing millions of Americans. Our campaigns have sent over 13.5 million emails and calls, delaying dangerous commitments by the Biden administration. Notably, 22 state attorneys general—led by Montana’s Attorney General Knudsen—have joined the fight, sending a letter to Biden opposing the WHO’s overreach. Legislatures in Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Utah have passed laws affirming that WHO treaties hold no legal power within their states, and 12 other states introduced legislation that needs grassroots support.
We are also working on federal bills to defund the WHO, exit global organizations like the UN, and limit the power of the CDC. Our greatest challenge, however, remains the leftist elites and the Democrat Party. They view pandemic control measures as tools to maintain power—using mass lockdowns, censorship, and medical mandates to suppress freedom.
We've already seen the abuse of this power during the midterms, with states suspending election laws and procedures, allowing for mass mail-in voting, taking Zuckerbucks money, and other “emergency pandemic measures.”
