Twenty-three years ago today, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) came to America’s defense after terrorists attacked us here at home. Every year on September 11th, we solemnly remember those who died that terrible day, honoring the brave men and women who sacrificed to protect us then and cherishing those who continue to serve now.

The NATO alliance has made the world safer and America’s national security stronger since its founding 75 years ago. If elected, Donald Trump has already promised that he would dangerously weaken our nation by withdrawing the United States from NATO. Considering his team’s Project 2025 blueprint, we know that this is no idle threat.

We must end Trump’s attempt to return to power. If he and his cronies win, an anti-democracy majority in Congress would bow to his dictatorial whims to steal our long-held freedoms and seal his longed-for authoritarian regime. That means we also need to elect pro-democracy candidates up and down the ballot to weed his MAGA cult out of any positions of authority.

We need your voice and effort to uphold our shared bedrock American principles.
