9/11: We Will Never Forget!
Dear John,
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and the brave emergency responders who sacrificed everything in the face of unimaginable tragedy. On that day, our nation confronted an act of terror, and the scars it left behind are still felt. We honor those who rushed toward danger, many of whom later succumbed to the toxic ash and smoke, their lives cut short in service to others.
Reflecting on this day, we also recognize the strength and unity that emerged from such darkness. For over 22 years, we’ve stood together, building an organization dedicated to defending America’s national security, vowing "Never Again." With over 3 million members today, we continue to fight for our country's safety against foreign and domestic threats.
I experienced the horrors of Islamic terrorism firsthand in my birth country of Lebanon, a once Christian-majority nation considered the Crown Jewel of the Middle East. The events of 9/11 were a stark reminder that the enemy I fought back home had reached our shores on 9/11, shaking every American to the core. The ripple effects of that day continue, with the number of FDNY members who have died from 9/11-related illnesses now exceeding those lost in the attack itself. This tragic toll reminds us of the ongoing cost borne by the heroes of Ground Zero.
As we honor their memory, let us also renew our commitment to support the survivors and their families. Together, we remain strong. Together, we remember.
If you value our work, please take a minute to donate today. Your support will enable us to continue fighting to secure our culture, security, and freedom.
In Gratitude,
Brigitte Gabriel
