Kamala Harris just dominated Donald Trump in the presidential debate.

She laid out her policy plans. He repeated the same old grievances. She made her case based on facts. He lied and lied. She explained her vision for the future. He talked about ... immigrants eating people’s pets!?

But as terrific as the vice president was tonight, this remains an incredibly close election, and we must do everything we can to help make sure Donald Trump never, ever returns to the White House.

1. Warn America about Project 2025: As Vice President Harris explained tonight, Project 2025 is the terrifying step-by-step playbook for Donald Trump’s second term that would shred our most cherished freedoms. Earlier this year, we launched a major public education effort to sound the alarm, and it’s really breaking through. Now we must ramp it up.

2. Close the TikTok gap: TikTok is the #1 most popular social media app for millions of young people, and Donald Trump has nearly 11 million followers — versus 4 million for Kamala Harris. Inequality Media Civic Action has spent years building our following on TikTok and learning how to make videos go viral, and we’re now one of the few progressive organizations with enough engagement on TikTok to help counter Trump’s dominance.

3. Combat Trump amnesia: In polls conducted earlier this year, half of all Americans said that the country was better off when Donald Trump left office than when he came in — a huge jump from what people thought back in 2021. We’ve been using proven-effective, data-driven messaging to remind people of what it was really like, including a new viral video series we’re about to launch for the final push to Election Day on the “10 worst things about Donald Trump.”

Kamala Harris won the debate. But she can’t win the election alone. We must all do what we can to support her. And as a grassroots-funded organization, we rely on your help to ensure that we have the resources to do our part.
