RESTORING CONSTITUTIONAL WAR POWERS AND PROTECTING OUR NATIONAL GUARD

We are excited to announce the launch of our new campaign in support of
Defend the Guard, an impactful movement aimed at protecting our National
Guard from unauthorized overseas deployments without a formal declaration
of war by Congress, in line with the Constitution.

Defend the Guard legislation helps restore the balance of power between
the states and the federal government, and presents a decentralized
strategy to advance a non-interventionist foreign policy.

Across the country, this movement has seen inspiring success, with numerous
state legislators introducing or supporting Defend the Guard bills. Defend
the Guard legislation most recently passed in the Idaho State Senate.

Now, we are proud to announce that the Libertarian National Committee has
endorsed Libertarian Party coalition efforts with Defend the Guard as part
of our newly passed Long-Term Strategic Plan.
