And now independent polling is showing what we've known all along, that we're ready to win this seat, and finally bring common sense conservative values back to Western Maryland. In the most recent polling, we lead Biden Bureaucrat April Delaney by two points.
Winning this race won't be easy, though. April Delaney may not actually live in the district, but she's a multimillionaire with ultra-wealthy friends and donors from out of state. And they're flooding the district with new ads attacking Neil and lying about his record and accomplishments. And the Harris campaign has committed to spending $25 million on crucial down-ballot races, including Maryland's Sixth.
We have been within the margin of error, or tied, in polls with Delaney before. We have never been in the lead, until now. A few weeks ago we were down two points. Now we're up two! It would be a shame to squander this momentum due to a lack of resources. We need to counter Delaney's lies and we need to do it fast.
