If you’re reading this email it’s a pretty good bet that you’re going to be watching the debate later tonight. You’re no doubt thinking about the last debate, too — along with everything that happened afterwards.

It’s a big deal, and I won’t tell you otherwise. But before it starts, I wanted to try one more time to refocus your attention on Arizona.

It wasn’t long ago that my home state was completely written off, year after year. After decades of unified Republican control, it was a foregone conclusion that we had no chance of competing here.

But that all started changing over the last six years. We organized. We worked hard. We won in 2018. We won in 2020. We won in 2022. And no matter what happens tonight, we need to fight with everything we’ve got to win here again in 2024.

Arizona’s seats could decide which party controls the U.S. House. Whether we win our Senate race is going to determine whether we defend our Senate Majority or lose it. And Trump himself has said that if he wins in Arizona, he will win the presidency.

Those are the stakes, and this is shaping up to be one of the most competitive, most expensive states in the entire country. We can’t lose focus. So, before you tune in to the debate, I need to ask you something very important.
