I am proud to be the Deputy Leader of the National Party. I’m working hard every day to rebuild the economy and reduce the cost of living.  

Our economic plan is working.  

We’re starting to see the cost of living come down as inflation and mortgage rates decrease.  

3.5 million Kiwis now keep more of what they earn after our Government promised, and last month delivered, tax relief for the first time in 14 years. Average income households are now better off by around $102 a fortnight, plus another $150 a fortnight through FamilyBoost if they have kids in early childhood education.

We’ve restored discipline to Government spending, moved resources from the back-office to the front line and we’re driving better value from public spending.
