renewable energy — it’s about people power. From the civil
rights movement to Indigenous rights, grassroots efforts have always
driven change.
In 1970, 20 million people marched on Earth Day, launching the modern
environmental movement and winning cleaner air, water, and wildlife
protections. And just last year, EARTHDAY.ORG’s push for reduced
plastic production gained U.S. government support.
Now, we need your passion. Whether you have less than 5 hours a week or
20, you can drive real change by organizing cleanups, leading tree
plantings, hosting teach-ins, or running digital events. Together,
we’ll work to triple global renewable energy generation by
2030.
