Team,
In CA-38, over 60% of our community identifies as Latino—and I’m proud to be part of that heritage!
When everyone has a seat at the table, we all benefit. That’s why I’m committed to ensuring that our government reflects the people it serves and fights for the issues that matter most to us.
Just today, the Ways and Means Committee selected me to serve as ranking member of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the remainder of the 118th Congress. As the first Latina and first woman of color to serve in this position, this achievement couldn’t be a bigger milestone in the fight for better representation.
Increasing representation not only allows for new perspectives but can also be used as a tool to fight back against extremist's agenda of silencing us and rolling back our rights.
As the BOLD PAC chair, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, I’m working to increase representation for this exact reason.
Will you join me in fighting for a government that reflects our district's and nation's diversity by contributing $10 right now?
