I hate doing this, but I’m about to ask you to make a sacrifice before midnight… Before I ask you, I want you to know I wouldn’t ask you to do something I myself wouldn’t do in your shoes.
Now, let me explain.
Running for Senate has been the hardest decision I’ve made in my entire life. I never expected the establishment operatives out east to try so desperately to stop people like me. All I’ve ever done is love my country.
Worst of all have been the sacrifices I’ve made throughout my time running for office. The toll it’s taken has been indescribable.
I gave up my career in the news media. I loved my job, but I refused to tell the lies that are now required of those working in mainstream media.
I miss my family. There’s too little time to spend with my kiddos when I spend every day on the campaign trail. Thankfully, my husband, Jeff, is always by my side. However, I ran for Senate to protect my kids’ future, and it hurts my heart that I can’t see them as much as I’d like to.
I miss waking up and enjoying just five minutes of sleep before my phone starts ringing. Now I can’t go a few hours without some fire drill needing to be put out.
I miss not having to send these emails. Finances have to be the worst part of running for Senate. Campaigning across Arizona costs more than I ever thought it would, but I’m committed to seeing this race through, even if it does hurt my pride having to ask you for help.
I miss my alone time! I never realized how much I took advantage of spending a few hours by myself. In this race, I’m often campaigning from dawn to dusk and, more often than not, early into the morning of the next day.
John, as much as I miss some of the comforts of day-to-day life, I know the sacrifices I’m making now will be worth it.
Unless conservatives like you and I stand up and make a difference, we won’t have a chance at beating my opponent, Ruben Gallego, and his puppet master, Kamala Harris, at the ballot boxes on November 5th.
