Indiana has made some important changes to allow all Hoosiers to safely vote in this primary election as we battle the spread of COVID-19.
First, our state primary has been moved from May 5th to June 2nd. Second, for this primary Hoosiers can choose the voting method that’s best for their situation — absentee vote by mail, early voting, or voting on Primary Day.
To get started, we need to make sure you and your fellow Republicans’ voter registration is up to date. Be sure to register or update your registration online at indianavoters.in.gov by the May 4 deadline.
To vote early beginning May 26, review your ballot and find your polling place at indianavoters.in.gov.
If you’d like to work the polls, contact your county Republican Party chairman – find their contact info here: http://indiana.gop/counties.
Another big change is that now all Hoosiers have the option to vote absentee by mail. If you chose to vote by absentee ballot this primary election, you must request your ballot by May 21.
