Join NNIRR today for a livecast webinar to celebrate International Workers' Day and #GivingTuesday on May 5th.

Dear friends,

#GivingTuesday is coming up on May 5th. We are writing to ask for your support. NNIRR's work has continued full tilt during this pandemic, as we push for protections, access to health care, services and economic relief packages that include migrant communities. Your support is needed to help us stay strong and keep up with the much needed organizing for human rights.

Also, we invite you to...

Join NNIRR today - May 1st - at 12 pm PST | 3 pm EST as we participate in a livecast webinar with Global Exchange and other partners to celebrate International Workers' Day.* You can watch on NNIRR Facebook live [ [link removed] ] or register for the webcast here [ [link removed] ]. If you register and can't actually join, Global Exchange will send you a video recording to view at your own convenience.

NNIRR's work during this crisis has focused attention on the U.S.-Mexico border, where migrant communities and organizations on the ground face a compounded humanitarian crisis. We are also involved in calling for the release of immigrants in detention, where social distancing is impossible, and unsafe and unsanitary conditions have already caused outbreaks in detention centers across the country. Those in detention are resisting with hunger strikes and legal actions.

Help us build capacity on the front-lines, uplift migrant voices and roll back the dehumanizing and exclusionary policies against migrants and refugees. Please give today [ [link removed] ] or give on #GivingTuesday -- either as a single donation or a recurring contribution. Thank you!

Safety and health access are human rights and governments must take responsibility for protecting ALL in this moment of crisis.
