Last week I was thrilled to join our brothers and sisters from across Metro-Detroit for the annual Labor Day parade.

As a pro-union Democrat, I’m a proud supporter of the labor movement that fought hard for 40 hour work weeks and 8 hour work days.

But the fight for fair wages and conditions is far from over. Too many workers aren’t being paid a livable wage, and as the backbone of our economy, that’s just outright unacceptable.

That’s why we need pro-union Democrats like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in office — not scabs like Donald Trump.
