Dear John,

This is Brent reaching out from Sanford Bishop’s campaign for re-election. While Congressman Bishop is busy working hard to serve the people of Southwest and Middle Georgia, I wanted to share some facts about him that you might not know:

He has served the people of Georgia since 1977. Sanford Bishop realized his purpose was to represent his community and ran for office to enact positive change for all people through the democratic process. Now, as one of the highest-ranking members of Congress, he has the expertise and a respected seat at the table to advocate for you.

He goes above and beyond for veterans, education, and the economy. As the Chairman of a House Appropriations Subcommittee, Congressman Bishop helps decide how the nation spends its money. He has overseen billion-dollar grants for veterans’ medical care, public schools, farmers, and small businesses — all in a fiscally responsible manner.

His work is never done. In these tougher times, Congressman Bishop is facing a tougher campaign for re-election. It is only with the support of like-minded, responsible citizens like you that he will be able to keep fighting for you every day.

Those are just a few of the reasons why all of us at Campaign HQ are working hard to re-elect Congressman Sanford Bishop — so he can keep working hard for us.

John, are you in?
