John, tonight is the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris – and we already know exactly what Trump is going to say.
We can expect more lies, more hate, and undoubtedly, more propaganda for his dangerous Project 2025 agenda. Trump has tried to distance himself from the 920-page MAGA “war plan” all he wants, but the fact is that his own former advisors and staff are the architects.
Project 2025 is a radical blueprint for destroying American democracy, rolling back fundamental rights, and denying civil liberties. We’ve never seen anything so sweeping, radical, and destructive as this plan – and make no mistake, Trump and his allies plan to implement much of it in the first 180 days if they win in November.
But we can stop them, John. And it starts with electing Kamala Harris as our next president and making sure we have a Democratic majority in the House. I know we can do it. I’ve been campaigning for dozens of outstanding Democrats in key races around the country, and proudly supporting the Harris-Walz ticket. I’ve seen the quality of our candidates, the integrity and passion that drives them, and the strong response from Democrats everywhere.
