Bad news, James:
In the wake of recent news that state officials in Texas are trying to block federal rules protecting the medical records of women who travel out of state to seek abortion care, Florida is trying to one-up them. Ron DeSantis’s election police are literally knocking on the doors of people who signed petitions to get this year’s abortion amendment on the ballot in Florida.
This election interference is nothing more than blatant intimidation of the people who are trying to fight for reproductive rights in Florida. These kinds of despicable tactics only underscore the need for federal action to protect reproductive rights. Kristin is running for Congress to lead the charge – and she needs our help.
Please, will you pitch in right now and help send Kristin to Congress to fight for the right of all to make our own health care decisions?

It’s obvious why Ron DeSantis is literally sending the police to check on people who support reproductive rights. If this amendment passes, it will put an end to the draconian six-week abortion ban that currently restricts health care options for tens of millions of women in Florida and around the south.
In state after state, when voters have had the opportunity to enshrine reproductive rights into state constitutions, they’ve voted pro-choice. California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Vermont, Ohio – all of them have voted directly to protect abortion rights, and Republicans are terrified that the same could happen in Florida.
But this isn’t enough. Even as voters overwhelmingly support reproductive rights at the polls, anti-choice politicians like Ron DeSantis are doing everything in their power to overturn the will of the voters and implement restrictions. We need federal action.
As an OB/GYN, Kristin understands firsthand the importance of the right to make our own health care decisions – and she’s running to champion reproductive rights at the federal level. Please, chip in to send her to Congress right now.
Thank you,
