Eight hundred billion dollars.

That’s how much of your money the federal government will waste on debt interest charges before balancing the budget, according to Parliamentary Budget Officer data.

If you don’t force change, the federal government won’t balance the budget until 2040.

Debt interest charges will cost taxpayers $847 billion by 2040. That’s a cost to you of $18,000.

A new government could balance the budget by cutting wasteful spending, shrinking the bureaucracy and ending corporate welfare.

But a new government – no matter who’s in charge – won’t balance the budget unless there’s an army of taxpayers like you pushing for spending cuts.

And there’s an army of special-interest groups, union bosses and crony lobbyists who are going to fight every single cut. They’re already getting ready. Are you?
