As we approach the 2024 election, the Ambassadors will dive deep into mis- and disinfo’s impact on elections, explore how they can work within their communities to arm individuals with credible information about voting, and curb the spread of election-related conspiracies and falsehoods. Participants will lead and attend cohort strategy meetings, collaborate with peers from across the country, receive strategic communications trainings, and take part in networking and career panels to further advance their interests in civil rights.
Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis and students chosen for the cohort will be awarded a participation stipend. Students accepted into the Ambassador cohort will be expected to dedicate 2-3 hours a week/4-6 hours a month (dates TBA). The deadline to apply is on September 23!
