This is urgent: Maggie Goodlander is running to represent New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, and the primary election is today!
I wouldn’t be reaching out today if this race wasn’t crucial. I believe in Maggie.
This is a contentious primary; opponents have spewed disgustingly false attacks that she does not support reproductive freedom. In fact, this issue is personal to her. She was forced to deliver her stillborn baby in a hotel bathtub, because she couldn’t get the medical care she needed as a result of the Supreme Court striking down Roe v. Wade.
Let's be clear: Maggie is being attacked for being a woman who has experienced trauma that no one should have to face. I’m no stranger to these kinds of bogus misogynistic attacks, and they have no place anywhere in our society, much less in our politics.
These attacks silence women for life experiences that are sadly too common in this country. Dirty tactics like this discourage all Americans from participating in our democracy.
