Team — this will be quick.

Right now, most people are looking ahead to the presidential debate later tonight, and for good reason.

But before it happens, remember this: In Arizona, what happens at the top of the ticket affects everything that happens down the ballot. Right now, Donald Trump is leading. That’s bad news.

But the inverse is true, too. Ruben Gallego is in a dead-heat with Kari Lake, and what happens in this race is critical to our chances. If we defeat Kari Lake in Arizona it’s all the more likely that we boost the rest of the ticket and help defeat Donald Trump, too.

It’s all the more likely we win a few more seats and take back the House.

It’s all the more likely we deliver a strong Senate majority that can deliver on the priorities we all care about.

So, before the debate starts tonight, please:
