First, when this debate ends both candidates will likely share how many donations they've received. For better or worse, that will shape post-debate coverage which will impact media coverage for the next few days.

But maybe more importantly, Trump and his allies are actually out-spending Kamala Harris in several swing states we need to win in order to keep Trump out of the White House.
