Friend, I was disgusted when I read that the Republican candidate for Senate in Montana made derogatory remarks about Native Americans, perpetuating harmful stereotypes.
But I can't say I'm surprised, considering the candidate has spent this campaign ingratiating himself with a man known for his hateful and divisive rhetoric – the disgraced former President Donald Trump.

This is just another in a long list of reasons we need to do everything we possibly can to help my friend Senator Jon Tester win in Montana. That's why I'm asking you to split a gift between Jon's campaign and mine today.
First, there's who Jon is: A dirt farmer who works on the same land that his grandparents homesteaded 100 years ago. Jon is someone who always tells it like it is, listens to different perspectives, and treats everyone – regardless of party, background, or anything else – with respect.
At the end of the day, every day, he fights for the people of Montana in everything he does.
|
Then, there is the key role this race will play in the battle for Senate control. With Senator Joe Manchin retiring and his seat in West Virginia all but guaranteed to turn red, Democrats must win in Montana to protect the Senate. But experts have named Jon the most endangered Senator running for re-election. Polls are neck and neck, and every election forecaster ranks it a toss-up.
|
With less than two months until Election Day and national Republicans spending big to replace Jon with a Donald Trump lackey, I need you to join me and do everything you can to help him win.
Please, at this critical moment, will you split a donation of $5 between my campaign and Jon Tester's to help him win in Montana and defend Democratic Senate control?

Thank you,
Dick
