Tina for Oregon

John,

Governor Kotek has asked the Biden Administration to designate the Owyhee Canyonlands in southeast Oregon as a new national monument if Congress doesn’t pass legislation this year to protect it.

OPB LogoGov. Kotek asks Biden to protect Oregon's 'Grand Canyon' if Congress does not

Oregonians have been trying for years to get federal protections for “Oregon’s Grand Canyon” without success — and now Governor Kotek has joined that fight.

Not only are the Canyonlands beautiful, but they also hold significance to Tribal nations, generate tourism dollars for the state, and provide a home for wild species native to the area.

Protecting our natural landscapes for future generations is a fundamental part of Tina’s environmental policy, and now she needs your help:

Will you add your name to support federal protections for the Owyhee Canyonlands? Future generations will thank you for your support:

Thank you!
