Dear John,

It is incredible to think that animals such as orangutans and gorillas are still locked up in cages, just so we can see them.

We know ALL animals suffer in captivity, but there is something about seeing animals who are so close to ourselves in cages, that should resonate with us and make us say – Enough is Enough!

Many apes suffer severe physical and psychological trauma in captivity, and it is common to see animals displaying abnormal behaviours and signs of depression, such as pacing, rocking, self-mutilation and coprophagy (eating their own faeces).
The lack of space, boredom and separation from their families really drives them mad!

Imagine a world where primates are no longer used as tools for entertainment. A world where we don't disguise their captivity as conservation. We can't 'conserve' these majestic animals until we fix their homelands!

Plus, these individuals will never make it back to their real wild homes. Let's stop the lies and find better ways!

So please, will you join us as one of our new Freedom Champions?

By joining us as a Freedom Champion and making a monthly donation, you will help to expose the dark side of captivity and tell the truth from behind the bars!

🦧 £5 a month could equip grassroots groups with campaign materials to turn the public away from this cruelty
