John,
In a moment, we’ll ask you to pitch in $10 to reelect Jon in 2024’s only toss-up Senate race. Montana will decide the Senate majority, and the latest polls have Jon neck and neck against Mitch McConnell’s handpicked candidate.
But before that, give us a minute to explain.
We’re officially in September, which marks our final end-of-quarter deadline of the election. Seriously—the last one.
Right after our deadline expires, we’ll file our latest fundraising report with the FEC.
Those fundraising numbers will then be published for everybody to see. Tim Sheehy, Mitch McConnell, and every political pundit will take a microscope to our numbers to find any vulnerabilities.
Did we raise enough money? Did enough grassroots donors chip in this quarter?
If we come up short, they won’t hesitate to bombard Jon even more with attacks—on top of the nearly $90 million Mitch McConnell’s allies are already spending.
And right now, our fundraising just isn’t where it needs to be. Grassroots donations have screeched to a halt since Labor Day—and unless we get a big boost by tonight, we won’t have enough resources to take on their attacks.
That’s why we’re reaching out: We need to raise $82,545 by midnight to stay on pace with our FEC goal. It’s a lot—but grassroots supporters like you have always pulled through when we need it the most.
So please, will you chip in today to help us close our budget gap, post our strongest fundraising haul of the election, and reelect our favorite seven-fingered dirt farmer to the Senate?
