John,

The Trump administration has unveiled an outrageous plan to open dozens of national wildlife refuges to expanded hunting of bears, bobcats, mountain lions and many other animals. What's more, it has suggested that doing so will give people something to look forward to after the pandemic.

This cruel and cynical plan would harm refuges across the country — from Montana's Swan River to Florida's Everglades and from Arizona's Cabeza Prieta to Massachusetts' Great Meadows.

Tell the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to drop this plan to expand hunting on refuges.

With wildlife already facing so many threats to their survival, they rely on refuges to be safe havens. But if Trump gets his way, they'll be in the crosshairs on many of these public lands for the very first time.

Act now to insist that the Service withdraw this disastrous proposal. Rare wildlife living in our national refuges should be protected, not shot.
