I have to be upfront with you, John:

I’m facing the toughest – and most consequential – reelection fight of my life here in Ohio, and my friend, Jacky Rosen, said that I could count on this grassroots team to help.

Here's what's going on: The GOP has named me as a top target for defeat, and I just got word that national Republicans are outspending my campaign on the airwaves. Now, polls show me statistically tied with my MAGA opponent – who was handpicked by Donald Trump.

Look, I hate to come to you like this. But if we don't build up a groundswell of resources ASAP, I'm worried we won't be able to fight back and defend this must-win Senate seat.

Please, can I count on you to give $5 or more today – split between my campaign and Jacky Rosen's – to help us defeat the GOP, win in Ohio and Nevada, and keep the Senate blue?

I've been fighting hard beside Jacky in the Senate to make sure working families across the country have the opportunity they deserve to build a better life for themselves and their children.

Meanwhile, my MAGA opponent is ready to be a rubber stamp on the Project 2025 agenda if he defeats me and helps Republicans retake the Senate. That means everything from banning abortion medication to cutting Medicare is on the line.

The stakes are just too high to lose this race, but the ONLY way I can win is with your immediate grassroots support. I need your help – and I need it now.

So please, chip in $5 or more right now to split between my campaign and Jacky Rosen's so we can protect our must-win Senate seats and defend our narrow Democratic Senate majority.

Thank you. We’re so grateful for your support.

– Sherrod
