Hi John, Senator Tammy Baldwin here with an important update on
my campaign:

A new poll from Emerson College shows me locked in a statistical tie with
my right-wing opponent, Eric Hovde, in Wisconsin’s Senate race.

Hovde and his right-wing allies have flooded Wisconsin with over $35
million worth of campaign ads to attack my record and dispel the fact that
he’s an out-of-state, out-of-touch megamillionaire who doesn’t know or
live our Wisconsin values.

As they’ve poured eye-popping sums of money into this race, Eric Hovde has
surged in the polls — to the point where this is now a tied race.

We need to launch new ads now to fight back against these attacks and
expose Hovde’s extreme views. Right now, Republicans are outspending us on
the airwaves, and if they continue to do so, they could flip this seat and
secure the Senate majority for the GOP.

Hovde and the dark money super PACs supporting him will spend even more
now that they see the lead is within reach. We need to be prepared to
fight back.

[ [link removed] ]So today I’m asking: Will you split a donation between my reelection
campaign and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee to help us fight
back and win this battleground race?

This is not the first tough battle the PCCC has helped me fight, and with
all hands on deck to mount a response to this polling update, it won't be
the last! Thanks for pitching in, if you can.
