Dear Friend,

Today, there are thousands of asylum-seeking families at the southern border and millions displaced around the world due to conflict, violence, or fear of persecution.

As people of faith, we are called to offer radical hospitality and fight messages that crush the image of God in others. Yet the current administration continues to spread xenophobic and racist narratives that deem these groups unacceptable.

Jesus was a refugee child who fled persecution, and Sojourners' Immigration Campaign seeks to find pathways to keep offering hospitality to those who need it most. As Christians, we cannot stand by as this administration keeps closing the door to those seeking safety. We need every voice we can find to advocate for welcoming
refugee and asylum-seeking families from dinner table conversations and church meetings to protests in congressional offices. We need you: [link removed]

That's why I'm asking you to take a minute and give to Sojourners today to support our Immigration Campaign and all of our work. With your gift of $100 or more, you will receive a Sojourners t-shirt and an opportunity to wear your commitment to faith in action for social justice. Give today: [link removed]

For more than 45 years, Sojourners has educated and empowered Christians to seek social justice in their churches and communities, through thoughtful commentary, strategic leadership, and on-the-ground action. We train laypeople and clergy to have hard conversations with their loved ones and communities on immigration, race, poverty, and other issues.

Wearing this t-shirt will serve a similar purpose: to declare that you support nonprofit journalism and faith-rooted social justice for all.

Please take advantage of this opportunity and give to Sojourners today: [link removed]

In peace,

Sandy Ovalle
