On behalf of VoteVets and Vet Voice Foundation, I’m pleased to invite you to TWO special events happening in DC on September 10th: a private Meet&Greet for our volunteers at 4pm, followed by a special screening of Vet Voice’s WAR GAME docu-thriller at 5:30pm.

Meet and Greet for VoteVets Volunteers with Alex Vindman

Join me for a meet and greet with Veterans and Military Families in the DMV. We’ll get to know each other over food and drinks, and brainstorm plans to get out the vote. Please note, this is a private, invite-only event for VoteVets supporters in the DMV. Please feel free to share the invite with your friends, but do not post on social media.

After the Meet & Greet, we will head over to the U.S. Capitol for a special reception and screening of WAR GAME, Vet Voice’s new film about a potential contested election in 2024.

WAR GAME Reception and Screening
September 10th, 5:30pm at the Capitol Visitor Center, North Theater
(The event will end promptly at 8:30pm, to allow attendees to return home for the presidential debate.)
Join us for a reception and screening of our new film WAR GAME, hosted by Senator Tammy Duckworth, followed by a panel with Directors Jesse Moss and Tony Gerber and film participants, including LtCol (Ret) Alex Vindman, former Gov. Steve Bullock, Senators Heidi Heitkamp and Doug Jones, and former Trump administration Homeland Security official, Elizabeth Neumann.

About the film: WAR GAME, a 2024 Sundance Official Selection and a NYT Critic’s Choice film, is a docu-thriller that follows a bipartisan group of real-world US defense, intelligence, and elected policymakers spanning five presidential administrations as they participate in an unscripted role-play exercise. Portraying a fictional President of the United States and his advisors, they confront a political coup backed by rogue members of the US military in the wake of a contested 2024 presidential election.
