I’ve always been too old to join Sunrise. Still, I’ll never be too old to respect and admire the extraordinary work Sunrisers have done so far to fight for climate action and cement the climate crisis as an urgent priority we need to work together to mitigate. It is my pleasure to write to you on behalf of Sunrise PAC.
This year's presidential election isn’t just about defeating Trump; it’s about protecting our climate and democracy from descending into unimaginable chaos. The Harris-Walz ticket has energized millions of young people who are ready to rewrite history, and Sunrise has the plan, the passion, and the people to turn this energy into action.
On September 12th, join me, Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, and Sunrise PAC’s fearless organizers for a conversation about why this election is our last, best chance to save our planet and our democracy. We’ll talk strategy, impact, and the urgency of giving this fight everything we’ve got.
