I wish I were reaching out with better news, but my team just let me know that we’ve seen a steep slowdown in grassroots donations this September:

I’m not going to use scare tactics or tell you that the sky is falling just to convince you to chip in to help us out. But I will be transparent about all that’s riding on your grassroots support, and tell you how critical it is that we get our fundraising back on track.

For my megamillionaire opponent, it’s as easy as cutting himself a seven-figure check to self-fund his campaign. But I don’t have that same luxury.

So when our grassroots donations slow down, it takes a major toll on our campaign’s ability to run ads and reach voters across the state.

With our last end-of-quarter public fundraising deadline approaching at the end of the month, this is the wrong time to be falling behind. I’m hoping our most dedicated supporters, like you, can chip in a little bit more today to help us make up ground.
