Urge Congress to protect voting rights now.

Friend –

As November's election approaches and we are making our plans to vote, we are also doubling down on our work to protect the right to vote. The attack on voting rights has reached a critical point with discriminatory laws being passed nationwide that disproportionately affect Black, Brown, and Indigenous voters. It's time we take action and put a stop to this. <[link removed]>

Make no mistake: The ACLU has long been fighting in the courts, in statehouses, and in the streets to ensure the sanctity of our democratic process this year is safe and equal for all of us. And tomorrow, we're bringing our fight to Capitol Hill.

Alongside our coalition partners and impacted voters from across the country, myself and my fellow ACLU voting rights experts will be urging members of Congress in person tomorrow to do everything in their power to protect people's voting rights, including the passage of four urgent and vital federal pieces of legislation:

* The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (JLVRAA).

* Provisions of the Freedom to Vote Act (FTVA).

* The Native American Voting Rights Act (NAVRA).

* The Washington, D.C. Admission Act to grant D.C. statehood.

ACLU Supporter, you do not have to be on the Hill with us in person to join us in this work tomorrow. In fact, you can take up our fight right now with us by sending a message and urge Congress to pass these crucial voting rights legislation. Are you with us?
