One of the participants in this debate is Donald Trump. So, it might be too much to hope that we get to hear about actual issues.
 
But a debate about issues is what we need. It’s what we deserve.

In the past year, I’ve had conversations with folks from Port Angeles to Bremerton, Hoquiam to Hilltop, and everywhere in between. 

Most of them don’t care about scoring points or soundbites — they need leaders who will tackle the climate crisis, fund their schools, expand access to mental health care and affordable housing, protect reproductive freedom, and so much more.
