Look, it’s a fair question given what’s happened in our Commonwealth recently.
Last month, Glenn Youngkin and my opponent for U.S. Senate hosted a campaign event together, then welcomed Donald Trump for a stop on a campaign trail in Northern Virginia.
And let’s face it, Virginia’s been a deep red state for most of my life.
So when pundits wonder if Virginia is “Youngkin Country,” I get where they’re coming from.
The truth is, Democrats are still underdogs in the 2024 elections — and Trump, the NRSC, and my opponent are poised to spend huge sums to flip our state red in November.
I refuse to accept that Virginia is “Youngkin Country” — but as Michelle Obama said in her DNC speech last month, we can’t just say something, we’ve got to DO SOMETHING.
September is the most critical month yet for campaign fundraising because every single dollar we’re able to bring in by the end of this month will be made public in the next FEC report — so now, more than ever before, we need you to get involved.
Will you help put us on track toward reaching our September goal by pitching in $20 or whatever you can right now?
