Find out why we took action against global beauty brand Dove last Thursday
John, have you heard? Last week, brave Greenpeace activists shut down Dove’s headquarters in London – exposing their corporate greed and environmental destruction.
Why? Because Dove are hypocrites. Their marketing campaigns promote ‘Real Beauty’ for women and girls – but in reality, they’re dumping billions of super-polluting plastic sachets on communities in the Global South. Their waste is devastating ecosystems and has serious health impacts on women and children [1].
We can only do these brave actions with the support of people like you.John, can you please set up a monthly gift today to help fund our work? Every pound you give will help us hold polluting corporations accountable.

We took action because we needed to make Dove listen. They ignored our open letter – so we brought our message right to their doorstep: stop poisoning our planet for profit. Their single-use plastics are threatening the health of communities and ecosystems across the globe.
You may be wondering: why are we targeting Dove specifically? The answer is simple – Dove is owned by Unilever, and Unilever is the biggest corporate seller of sachets in the world.
Last year alone, Unilever sold over 53 billion unrecyclable plastic sachets – and over 10% of these sachets are sold by their highly profitable ‘master brand’ Dove [2]. Dove call themselves a force for good, but their toxic trash is polluting our planet and harming people’s health.
Our brave activists risked arrest to highlight Dove’s assault on our planet. We took action to send a message: they can’t get away with this any longer.John, will you become a Greenpeace member today and help us continue the fight against corporate greed?
Yes, I'll join with a monthly donation: [link removed]
These brave actions can only happen with your support. By setting up a monthly gift, you can help us plan logistics, support activists through arrests, and continue fighting for a better future.
We won’t stop until Dove takes accountability for their environmental destruction, and commits to phasing out single-use plastics in the next 10 years.
Thanks for all you do.
