House to Challenge Senate on Election Integrity

Good news! House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) plans to take action to stop non-citizens from voting before the November elections.
The House is set to pass a stop-gap spending bill that funds government operations until March, and that also includes the SAVE Act, which requires states to verify citizenship in federal elections.
Specifically, the legislation would stop non-citizen voter registration and criminalize the act of giving someone a ballot knowing they’re a non-citizen.
This is a commonsense solution that will boost election integrity in the wake of the recent invasion of illegal immigrants coming across our southern border.

House Republicans have the support of the American people on this issue, but Democrats will try to blame them for a government shutdown even though they are the ones blocking funding to protect non-citizen voting.
President Trump believes it’s time to fight for election integrity. House Speaker Johnson believes it, too. Now it’s up to Senate Republicans to fight for our country’s future.
We know the Democrats will oppose it, but if Republicans unite, we can win the argument and force them to back down.
That starts with the Senators seeking to replace Mitch McConnell as the Republican Leader when he steps down in November.
Will they continue his failed strategy of surrendering to the Democrats on government funding fights, or will they side with Americans in securing our elections?
Time will tell.
