As you may know, Prison Fellowship’s advocacy work is close to my heart. I’m thrilled to share with you all the ways our advocacy staff and volunteer teams are making a difference.
In just the first half of 2024, Prison Fellowship celebrated critical victories for more restorative approaches to crime and incarceration—helping pass the Federal Prison Oversight Act, remove barriers to affordable housing, reduce driver’s license suspensions for non-driving-related offenses, and much more.
Read more on our blog about the exciting ways Prison Fellowship is making an impact. We strive to support safe and constructive prison environments because every person, including those incarcerated, is made in the image of God with value and purpose.
Are you interested in learning more about advocacy? I’d love for you to join us Sept. 30 for a special conversation with our Justice Ambassador team. Prison Fellowship Justice Ambassadors are trained volunteers who share their stories, advocate for justice reform, raise awareness on key issues, and more. At the webinar, you’ll find out more about becoming a Justice Ambassador and using your voice to inspire the Church, communicate with lawmakers, and change the culture.
The first 50 registrants who attend the full webinar will receive a DoorDash credit! Don’t miss out. Register today.
We can’t do this Kingdom work without you. Thank you for your ongoing support and prayers. If you would like to share a prayer request, please let our prayer team know.
Serving Him with you,
HEATHER RICE-MINUS President and CEO
