AI chatbots, such as one developed by Steve Kirsch, can spread misinformation about vaccines and autism. Despite potential for AI to combat misinformation, its ability to be fine-tuned poses risks. While AI could help fact-check and combat vaccine hesitancy, there is concern that it may amplify biases and misinformation. Furthermore, there is the possibility that anti-vaccine influencers could use AI chatbots to perpetuate misinformation, potentially leading to adverse public health consequences.
