That’s how much it costs just to apply for an apartment in Orlando. In some other US cities, it’s even more expensive.

And I’m not just citing numbers – I’ve experienced this crisis firsthand.

I was priced out of my home while running for Congress, and was houseless for two months. When I finally made it to Congress and moved to D.C., I was denied from multiple apartment buildings because unfair housing policies tanked my credit. There was no way to win.

It doesn’t have to be like that. That’s why I ran for Congress in the first place – because I know better than the career politicians out there that our system is broken.
