With your support, I will continue to deliver progress and tackle issues that are closest to us all. Besides securing tax relief for seniors, I championed the funding of support and resources for our youth; a historic $60 million. Through sponsored and supported legislation we have improved literacy rates, made a more effective learning environment for students, and made mental health support more available. All while ensuring that these resources make it to the members of our community who truly need them the most.
This time of year brings so many transitions—whether it's the excitement of back-to-school, the return to routine, or simply adjusting to the changing seasons. For me, these transitions are a reminder that our schools, our families, our community, and our environment are at the heart of everything we are fighting for. It's about ensuring our students have the resources they need to succeed, supporting our families in navigating the challenges they face, and being good custodians of what we have now, so that we can lay the foundations of success for future generations.
